Chinese Antiques & Collectibles
There is a very large group of exceptional and rare Antique Chinese Porcelain, Framed Silk Collars, Furniture and more from a Charleston SC / Beijing China Estate. Many of the items offered were not for the Western Market.
For the Historic Charleston collectors there will be a several items from the estate of George Alfred Trenholm (1807-1876). Trenholm was a South Carolina businessman, financier, politician, and planter who owned several plantations and strongly supported the Confederate States of America. He was appointed as its Secretary of the Treasury during the final year of the American Civil War. Items include a very rare Lefaucheux Brevet 20 Shot Pinfire Double Barrel Double Action Revolver with Folding Trigger.
